I want to be a tutor for similar reasons I'm studying to be a high school science/maths tutor. I enjoy learning about things and sharing this knowledge with others. Plus, I've been told I have some talent - and a lot of patience. My approach is to adjust my teaching style to my student's needs. I'm willing to tutor single students and small groups.
I am strongest at providing tutoring at a high school or university level in maths and science (physics, biology, and chemistry mainly, but also earth sciences and physiology). I can tutor towards the following at high school or first year university level: English (incl. creative writing), social sciences (geography, anthropology). Though I'm more than willing to extend myself to further or more advanced topics. I can also teach flute and music theory.
I am currently completing the second year of a Bachelor of Science (cell biology major, maths minor) / Bachelor of Secondary Teaching at Deakin University.
I transferred (due to now resolved medical issues) from the University of Melbourne where I was enrolled in a Bachelor of Science (Genetics/Developmental Biology). I completed 2nd year and some of 3rd year of this degree. Including some 2nd year maths and physics. As well has breadth subjects in creative writing and anthropology.
